The Nature of Reflection

I am posting an image of a reflection because of its symbolic implications. Today marked the final and official end of the series "Kim Possible", and while in the grander scheme of things it is probably an insignificant happening, it was a very important part of my life; a life that has completely changed for me this year... and I mean completely. It is probably fitting that KP should end just at the point when most of the radical changes in my life have finally begun to settle. Tonight, as I watched Ron and Kim fly off into the moon "Grease" style, I had a small lump in my throat.

I was watching when Disney aired that very first episode in late 2001, and I never missed any of KP's adventures... even daring to compose a few of my own. And while I am not yet done writing mine, the series is officially - and this time permanently - over. Yes, it was just a cartoon, but for me that particular cartoon was the catalyst of so much more that happened in my life; some things good, others not so much.

So tonight, I reflect... and offer this photographic reflection in commemoration.
